Green ceramic sheets collating and stacking line

Baccini's Green Sheet collating and stacking system is a special line that is able to make in short time an high number of stacks with an outstanding quality.
In light of the handling systems and tacking process used , the line is an example of a very good design engineering achievement.
In its standard configuration, the line can process 6x6",8x8",10x10" and in the future 12x12" sheet sizes.

All tape handlings motions are made by special linear motors and vacuum systems which do not allow the tape shrink or lengthen during every process step.
Mylar removal is made by a particular opposing rolls system (patented by Baccini Srl) that is able to remove every kind of mylar without using thermal glues or adhesive tapes.
Green sheet centering is made by particular X-Y-Theta axis stages , controlled by linear motors. This stages are driven by a high performance 4 cameras vision system that is able to guarantee a +/-0,005 mm accuracy.
The Tape tacking process is carried out by a special patented Baccini system, not using either adhesive pastes, which otherwise would dirt the blanks, or big thermal plates, which would deform the multilayer package.

System configuration

The line is generally supplied with three standard configurations.

Laboratory configuration

Configuration suitable for design and laboratory activity.
This unit is very flexible and has a very high accuracy.
It is able to stack every kind of tape and to change format in very short time.
Though it is not a production line, it is able to process big volume lots.
The unit does not have an auto loading-unoalding system.
The Mylar removal station is manually operated.

Production configuration

Configuration suitable to process big volume lots.
Including:
- automatic blank/tray loader
- automatic identification of blank type and checking against the programmed
stacking sequence
- on request a further control by bar-code reader before Mylar removal is available
- automatic Mylar removal station
- automatic centering by vision system and axes table
- welding by tacking tips
- empty tray unloading
- multilayers package unloading
